Well, I did say watch this space for more  I used the free poppy die and stamp set which was in the Crafter's Inspiration mag (fab) and used some other stamps from past Sheena collections.  I used distress ink on the background, stamped and coloured.  Die cut and stamped the gorgeous fairy and done a few snips in her legs to I can sit her in a very lady like position hee hee She is my poppy fairy :) :)  She is so versatile and all my flower dies and, well, really anything that can held she is just GREAT for:  I have been a little naughty, tut, tut, and purchased the new Holly Jolly and Christmas Ivy sets.....I cant wait to play with these, again, these can be used all year round and compliments most designs.......Oooooo fun !!!   Happy Days :)

Well, how blessed am I.......I had the new poinsettias, pine cones, beautiful fairies and the cheeky elves to play with.  All stamps for the elves and fairies are front and back, so very versatile also with the matching dies YAY!!  No more cutting out whoooooooooo!!  so much easier that way and kind of makes you wanna do loads and loads cause it is so much easier and quicker.  If you cut out loads to start with you will always have them for a quick make ;) In my samples I have used a mixture of distress inks and aquatints (yes I love my aquatints) for the backgrounds and colouring in.   This new collection is a must as it does not matter what xmas stamps you already have in your crafty stash, these beauties will frame your work or add a cheeky little embellishment to compliment your make.  Obviously, time is time and there is never enough of the damn thing so my samples have been done and sent, however, I feel constant urges to add to my collection especially doing a few more of the fairy for everyday cards etc.....I can see a gorgeous colourful one coming on with some of Sheena's Perfect Partners Victorian Flower collection - watch this space !!!

Using aqutints, sheena stamps and little Claire's stamps I created a calming card.  Ted and me taking a break lol. X

Wedding Domino Book

Here is one my favourites, my little wedding domino book.  Done the same as usual except using wedding pictures for the inside which are old fashion ones.  Little gems round the edge and stamped wedding images on the front.  I always use glossy accents on the front and back to make it strong and shiny.  I really love this one.  It got purchased from me and I am really thinking about doing another one.

Mother's Day Domino Book

Well its gone crazy !  These birds are brilliant, fun and so versatile.  This is a card I made for my very dear friend Pattie Bloomfield.  I used Crafters Companion embossing board for background, distress inked it.  I used Sheena Douglass's gorgeous flowers and gold gilding wax.  Layered all and stuck.  Not forgetting the crazy bird which was coloured in distress ink, cut out and stuck.  Sentiments stamped in the middle.  I new Pattie would love cause she loves the birds too !!  :) xx
